Covid lockdowns: India Inc seeks more time from SEBI to file Q4, FY21 results

Experts are seeking two more months from the Securities and Exchange Board of India for the companies to report Q4, FY21 earnings. They say compliance, physical inspection by auditors difficult due to lockdowns. To Grant Thornton CEO Vishesh Chandiok, the question is not if but when will the SEBI come out with relaxation.

“…question is not if the deadline should be extended but when - really hope an announcement can be made now versus closer to the end of the deadline,” CEO VIshesh Chandiok tweeted.
