Dear Valued Stakeholder,
The automotive industry is facing considerable challenges and weak demand due to a sharp reduction in economic activity and growth in India. While some relief packages have been announced by the government to ease manufacturing and boost demand, businesses need to take proactive measures to realign their operations.
Keeping this in mind, Grant Thornton in India, in collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), is organising a virtual conference on “Rebooting Automotive Manufacturing”. We will be releasing a joint report on business continuity and effectiveness plans for sustainable growth. The report elaborates on various aspects that automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) need to evaluate while planning for the road ahead. These include supply chain reorganisation, changing consumer trends, operational risks, and liquidity restructuring. In a series of panel discussions, industry experts from the leading automotive OEMs will share their insights and experiences on opportunities and revival of the industry.
The topics for the panel discussions are as follows:
Business operations continuity
Business efficiency plan – future
Debt management post COVID-19 and
insights on new RBI framework
The programme is curated and designed by CII in collaboration with Grant Thornton keeping in mind the interest of the industry stakeholders. CII Chairman Shreekant Somany will highlight the steps and strategies to rebuild the sector on the foundation of sustainable growth. Our experts Saket Mehra and Sanjay Mishra will throw some light on navigating through the current challenges and building resilient businesses.
We look forward to your participation.
