We invite you to the workshop on Ind AS – Applied & Practical Learning on 22 February 2017 at Hotel Le Meridien, Bengaluru.

Pursuant to the MCA roadmap for implementation of Indian Accounting Standards (“Ind-AS”) by companies, the first set of companies, popularly called “Phase 1 companies” moved to this new accounting platform starting April 2016.

Also, from 01 April 2016, the next set of companies, referred to as “Phase 2 companies” kick-started the process of conversion of their first comparative period (FY 2016-17) from existing Indian GAAP to Ind-AS.

Ind AS (the converged IFRS standards) in India may significantly affect a company’s day-to-day operations and may even impact the reported profitability of the business itself. Conversion brings a one-time opportunity to comprehensively reassess financial reporting.

The seminar will provide practical understanding of the new concepts to the professionals. It will provide an opportunity to the participants to hear from regulators, policy makers and professionals of our firm on the latest issues, challenges and applicability of new accounting standards.
