The Faceless Assessment Scheme was introduced to impart greater efficiency, transparency and accountability in Income-tax assessments. It is aimed at substantially changing the way in which income tax assessments were conducted and digitising the interactions between taxpayers and revenue authorities. The Scheme is now completing its first year. There have been varied experiences during its implementation, including developments on the legal front in the form of Writs filed in various Courts on separate issues.

With this backdrop, Grant Thornton Bharat invites you to a panel discussion on practical and legal challenges, and key learnings from Faceless Assessment Scheme where legal and industry experts will share their insights.
