As #GTBharat celebrates 90 years of impact, we spotlight the leaders shaping its future — those who lead with clarity, courage, and conviction. Among them is Soumya Palchoudhuri, Partner, Market Ecosystems — a function built to connect people, insights, and purpose.

“If I had to describe #GTBharat in one word, it would be constellation. A network of people, ideas, and possibilities — all connected by purpose.” — Soumya Palchoudhuri, Partner, Market Ecosystems

When I first spoke to the leadership at #GTBharat, I sensed the Firm was ready for a bold shift — one that called for a more integrated, ecosystem-based approach. I’ve always believed in breaking silos and bringing people together to tell a unified story. That’s how the Market Ecosystems function came to life — with a vision to shape a more connected, insight-led #GTBharat.

One of our key milestones was building Linkreta — a platform designed to make client conversations more real-time, personalised, and data-driven. We wanted our people to walk into meetings not just informed, but ready to add value. It was a step toward becoming a truly client-first Firm — one that’s agile, relevant, and deeply invested in solving real problems.

Over time, our team evolved from a small, multitasking group to a structured, cross-functional engine. Today, we’re aligned with sectors, embedded in strategic pursuits, and deeply connected to the Firm’s growth agenda. We’ve moved from reactive support to proactive market shaping — and that shift has made all the difference.

But vision alone isn’t enough. It takes more than ideas — it takes action. You need to roll up your sleeves, get into the details, and build credibility. It starts with listening, understanding the DNA of the organisation, and using data and insights to drive meaningful change. And most importantly, it’s about building a constellation around you — people who help you grow, challenge your thinking, and push you forward.

I’ve always encouraged collaboration — across functions, tiers, and locations. What one team builds, another amplifies, and another helps win in the market. That’s how we lead — by lifting each other.

Ninety years is a powerful milestone. It captures the insight we’ve gained and the relationships we’ve nurtured over the period of time. ‘90 years in Bharat and beyond’ says it all — we’ve done a lot, but there’s so much more to do.

And I’m proud to be part of shaping what comes next.

Here’s to the leaders who don’t just see the future — they build it.
