Employment Linked Incentive (ELI) Scheme: All you need to know
India’s landmark ELI Scheme aims to create over 3.5 crore formal jobs by incentivising both first-time employees and employers across all sectors, including services and manufacturing. Applicable to jobs created between 1 August 2025 and 31 July 2027, the scheme aims to drive workforce formalisation, improve financial literacy, and strengthen social security while supporting sustainable economic growth.
