Grant Thornton Bharat hosted a webinar to decode the finer details of the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY). The scheme aims to boost job creation, widen social security coverage, and encourage participation from companies across all sectors.

Key features of the Yojana

Eligibility: Covers new jobs created between 1 August 2025 and 31 July 2027.
Sector coverage: Applicable across all sectors – services, manufacturing.
Incentives:
- For Employees: Upto INR 15,000 for first time EPFO registered employee.
- For Employer:
  - Non-manufacturing sector: Upto INR 72,000 per additional employee.
  - Manufacturing sector: Upto INR 144,000 per additional employee.
