The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), 2016, has brought forth a new regime for the distressed asset industry in India, focussing on time bound resolutions and maximisation of value. In the last 5 years, India has witnessed several big-ticket insolvencies, and the IBC underwent several changes in response to market dynamics and industry requirements.
With this as context, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, with Grant Thornton Bharat and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas as Technical Partners, are organising a two day conference on IBC Code: 5 Years of Bankruptcy Code and Beyond.
