The Union Cabinet recently notified PLI Scheme 2.0 for IT Hardware with a budgetary outlay of approximately INR 17,000 crore. Considering global affairs, the scheme has been revamped to expand and reinforce India's IT hardware manufacturing ecosystem by providing incentives on incremental sales of laptops, tablets, all-in-one PCs, servers etc.
