As #GTBharat completes 90 momentous years, we pause to reflect on the journey, the milestones, and most importantly – the people who shaped this journey. Among them is Ankit Jhamb, Chief Learning Officer — a leader who embodies the spirit of young leadership, grounded in purpose, people and progress.

"Every time you move from position power to relationship power, you empower people."

When I look back at my journey, two things stand out as defining: culture and psychological safety.

These weren’t just projects. They were deeply personal. I had the opportunity to work closely with our leadership to build a culture that’s not only high-performing, but also human. A culture that values openness, trust, and the freedom to speak up. That experience — of shaping something so foundational — has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my journey.

Ninety years is more than a milestone — it’s a journey built on people, purpose, and progress. It’s a significant achievement in itself — a testament to what the Firm has stood for over the decades. And for me, personally, it’s a matter of pride to be part of such a critical milestone.

What excites me even more is where we’re headed. We’re embracing the constellation mindset — a shift from position power to relationship power. It’s about enabling people to lead from wherever they are. Giving them the tools, the trust, and the space to contribute meaningfully. That’s how we create room for young voices — not just to be heard, but to be empowered.

We’re building systems and frameworks that support this mindset. We’re encouraging upward feedback, creating safe spaces for dialogue, and offering opportunities that stretch people beyond their roles. That’s how we grow — together.

There’s a piece of advice I received early in my career that I still carry with me: Dress one level up. Behave two levels up. It’s not about appearances — it’s about showing up with presence, with professionalism, and with the mindset of someone who’s already leading the next chapter.

As I look ahead, I see a generation of leaders who are both digitally fluent and socially aware. They’re navigating a world shaped by generative AI, while staying grounded in empathy and people-centricity. It’s not an easy balance — but it’s the most important one. And I believe we’re building the right environment to help them thrive.

Here’s to the voices that shaped our past — and the bold, young leaders shaping what comes next.
