“At #GTBharat, cultural tenets aren’t just words on a wall — they’re values we live by.”
— Priyanka Gulati, Partner, Business Consulting

When I think about leadership, I think about listening. About creating space. About helping people find their own voice. I’ve never believed in telling people what to do — whether it’s my team or my children. I believe in guiding, in coaching, in unlocking potential. Because real growth begins with curiosity, not control.

That philosophy has shaped my journey — both personally and professionally. I’m a marathon runner. I don’t run the fastest, but I always finish. And that’s what matters. Just showing up, being present, staying the course — that’s where the magic lies. I’ve learnt to pace myself, to celebrate the small wins, and to find joy in the journey, not just the finish line.

As #GTBharat celebrates 90 years, I find myself reflecting on what it means to be part of something bigger. This milestone isn’t just about longevity — it’s about values. It’s about the belief that has carried us forward, year after year. I’ve seen those values come to life — in how we support women farmers through Main Bhi Kisaan, and how we made history with the Kapil Dev Grant Thornton Golf Tournament 2025, where men and women played together for equal prize money. These aren’t just initiatives — they’re expressions of who we are.

That belief in values and purpose has guided me through many chapters of my life — but one moment, in particular, has stayed with me since childhood. I was five years old, sitting proudly on a horse at my uncle’s wedding, when someone pulled me off. I was heartbroken. But my grandmother didn’t console me. Instead, she looked me in the eye and said, “If you really dream about something, make sure you make it happen.” That moment shaped me. It taught me to dream big — and to stay on the horse, no matter what.

To every woman out there with a dream: hold on to it. Share it with someone who believes in you. And never stop showing up — because every step you take becomes part of a larger journey.

This is my story. And I’m proud it’s part of #GTBharat’s story — a journey built on purpose, progress, and the quiet power of showing up.
