When I think about leadership, I think about listening. About creating space. About helping people find their own voice.
I’ve never believed in telling people what to do, whether it’s my team or my children. I believe in guiding, in coaching and in unlocking potential. Because real growth begins with curiosity, not control.
That belief has shaped how I lead every day.
That philosophy extends beyond work into how I approach life. I’m a marathon runner. I don’t run the fastest, but I always finish.
For me, it’s about showing up, being present and staying the course. I’ve learnt to pace myself, celebrate small wins and find joy in the journey, not just the finish line.
That mindset has stayed with me, both personally and professionally.
As we celebrate 90 years as a firm, I often reflect on what it means to be part of something bigger. It’s not just about milestones; it’s about the values that guide us.

I’ve seen these values come to life in meaningful ways, from initiatives that support communities to moments that reinforce our belief in inclusion and equality. These are not just actions; they reflect who we are.
There’s a moment from my childhood that has stayed with me. I was five, sitting on a horse at a family wedding, when someone pulled me off. But my grandmother didn’t console me. Instead, she looked me in the eye and said, “If you really dream about something, make sure you make it happen.” That moment shaped me. It taught me to dream big — and to stay on the horse, no matter what.
To every woman with a dream, hold on to it. Share it with someone who believes in you. And most importantly, keep showing up.
Because every step you take becomes part of something bigger.
